Privacy

Short version: there are no accounts, and your shortlist stays on your device.

What is saved on your device

The site uses your browser’s local storage to remember three things, only on this device:

• the names you heart (your shortlist),
• whether you are browsing US or UK names,
• the surname you typed into Surname match, if you used it.

This is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time by removing your hearts or clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

Sharing your shortlist

When you share your shortlist, the names are written into the link itself. Nothing is stored on a server. Anyone who has the link can see the names in it.

Accounts

There are none. You don’t need to sign up or give an email address.

Services we use

The site runs on Cloudflare, which handles every request and uses your approximate country to choose US or UK names the first time you visit. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to fetch them. If you use a share button, the site you share to (such as X, Pinterest, WhatsApp or Facebook) has its own privacy policy.

Ads and cookies

To be updated when ads are added. There are no ads on the site right now.
